Where are the British Isles and Ireland?

Midle of Atlanti ocean[edit]

Hi!

I heard about the seas level were lower. Aprox. -300m . I sow an oceanographical map where show an oceanpad southwest from englad. 300-500 km distance have between form england southwest coast. The oceanpad are similar size than the today england. May it was arid land? If it was land it must be jungel and wery wet by Golf-pre-flow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.89.212.202 (talk) 13:03, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Problem[edit]

The resolution is too low for the legend to be legible, and the colors are too similar to be distinguished. 129.93.159.80 (talk) 22:13, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I strongly agree. Is this just a bad reproduction or were the creators of this map so incompetent to choose such hard to distinguish colors? --Ericjs (talk) 03:44, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

I agree. This map is worthless and frustrating, and needs to be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtloweman (talkcontribs) 16:24, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Just adding my voice to what others have said--namely that this map is difficult to read because of the resolution and use of colours. I am also skeptical of the accuracy of the map since I think it would be impossible for "Polar or alpine deserts" to lie north of and adjacent to permanent ice sheets.--Dmyurych (talk) 17:14, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

It's definitely hard to read, but my main problem with it is the 2007 edit where all of the data on Antarctica and various islands was removed. Also, the concern about the location of polar and alpine deserts is entirely consistent with the rest of the article and other related articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.36.25.35 (talk) 21:35, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
