The topic on shutting down Vridar has been closed--probably meaning wordpress has gotten the message that they need to play fair with Neil. I saw earlier entries by Grog, Roger Pearse, and Hjalti favorable to Vridar.
And that may be why it seems so difficult to get on the thread. As a member I could see more, I think. |

No, the thread is closed. The last two posts were a Wordpress representative being gratuitously rude.
Worth remembering, the next time Wordpress play the touchy-feely tune. Edit: or possibly just a random user being rude. Just seen another example of the same trolls mouthing off and being unhelpful, and reported it to the mods. |

This probably belongs in a different forum, but it mostly is of interest to readers of this one.
First, if Joel Watts did not send Neil a warning, then Wordpress violated its ToS by taking down Vridar, unless Joel made false claims. Here is the pertinent policy statement on automattic: Quote:
