Default An Interesting Statement from Isidore of Seville about the Epistle to the Hebrews

From his Etymologies:

Quote:
The Epistle to the Hebrews, with many Latinisms and dissonant language, is of uncertain authorship. http://books.google.com/books?id=igx...sms%22&f=false
Maybe I've been asleep at the wheel but I had never heard about Latinisms in Hebrews. Isidore goes on to mention Barnabas and Clement as possible authors. But I wonder whether the Latinisms connect the final editing of Hebrews to the final editing of Mark. Clement says that Luke put the final touches on Hebrews. Any Latinisms in Luke?

That's an interesting passage, isn't it? Thank you.
