Personally I'm jealous. All those birds are going to get to shit on his head and I'm not.

Arrgh indeed.

From the story:

You want a "visible sign of the presence of Christ?" How about you & Tom give all your f***ing money to the poor, like Jesus commanded, instead of wasting it on useless & tacky crap like this!

If the Bible were to be true, Jesus would be throwing a major fit right about now....

Well, as long as they keep him nailed up there on that cross, he can't make them obey him...

As long as it's built on PRIVATE land, I really could care less. What pisses me off are these jerks who build their crosses and Jeezus statues on public land, a good example being the giant crosses in that San Diego park.

I think it's about time we free thinkers pool our money to build a giant "THERE IS NO GOD!" sign for all to see. Wouldn't you agree?

Nah. It'd probably backfire on us by getting hit by lightning or sumpin.

Scary man.

I'm in Ann Arbor (as says that little bit beneath my messages), and some friends and I went to the light show at Domino's farms before Christmas this year. Pretty, though I laughed when I saw the one with Santa kneeling at the manger

Anyway, yeah, this is scary. Ann Arbor should be home to a great university, a liberal crowd, a yearly hash bash and naked mile, and all sorts of artsy stuff; not the world's tallest crucifix.

My boyfriend's fairly Catholic, and even he calls Domino's farms scary Catholicism.

That stuff tends to piss me off. One mythical figure paying homage to another is all it is. Maybe we should come up with one with baby Jesus rolling around in all the loot Santa brought him or being cranky 'cause he never gets birthday presents 'cause he was born on Christmas Day and all . . .

Whenever Atheists have put up signs next to nativity scenes (when Xians and courts have said multiple viewpoints are acceptable) they have been quickly torn down. It would have to be a huge, monumental sign that can withstand drills, bombs and spraypaint as Christians have a history of being able to tear down competitive advertisements.

Anyone waiting for a headline to say, "Christian prayer group crushed by collapsed 25-story cross"? At least they aren't using that tax-exempt money for something like starving children or clothing the homeless. WWJD.

Oh yeah, I prefer Pizza Hut anyway.

Hey, the zealots can destroy anything we try to put up. Read about the "Freethinkers' Rock" controversy in Comfort, TX:

I took the opportunity yesterday and responded after I answered the poll.

I told them that I thought this was a stupid waste of money and to think of all the people that could have been fed, clothed and housed with the money being wasted on this stupid piece of shit.

Why do xians think it is such a good idea to build 'graven images' and not 'care for the poor' What part of the bible did I miss when I used to go to church? Did some one change the words?
