Ah, Sur-reality, it's not good form to do this. If you find a thread on another forum interesting and relevant to EoG, it's OK to link to it- but if you want to call attention to a just-opened thread you have started, that's not. If your topic is interesting enough to gather lots of comments and responses in the forum you start it in, good- but don't go around advertising it.

I'm going to lock this thread now.
