I used to hang out with some born-agains, and even they thought the bible code was garbage.

Perhaps I am dumb, but who the <whatever> is the "US Agent Deed" in the Martin Luther King section?

See? The Moby Dick Code bears them out - MLK really WAS setup to be assasinated by the FBI (or whoever). Cheers, The San Diego Atheist |

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply as I'm kinda of busy these few days. Anyway, I'm quite surprised that there is no hardcore bible code defenders here and everyone seems to insist that bible code is crap(as I do).
By the way, when do some professors bent on saying that the bible code is a fact? Are they confused or deeply religious? |

Of course, there's the whole issue of what version of the Bible to use? I mean, should you use a King James, an RSV, or one printed on the earliest printing press? And in what language? English, German, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic? The idea that people thousands of years ago could code something in a book when translated into English (especially Americanized English) is absolutely ridiculous! Bunk!
