Dembski:

Sooner or later (and probably sooner) Orr will find himself in a forum on intelligent design where the rules of engagement are not rigged in his favor. I look forward to his performance then.
Oh, the irony.

Heck we have seen how well Dembiski has done in forums rigged for his favor.

Ah, the convenient addition of an 'm'.

In his reply Orr takes me to task for not responding to the many particular objections he raised against my work in his original review, suggesting that this was the result of bewilderment on my part and intelligent design running out of steam and not, as was the case, for lack of space.

No, Orr was baffled by Dembski's failure to respond to any of the devastating objections he'd raised. What the heck is this supposed to mean? I didn't have enough space to answer every objection -- that's why I talked about something completely irrelevant, and bollocksed that up, too.

I can't say enough good things about Orr. In just a couple relatively brief interventions a few years back, he destroyed Behe's claims so effortlessly that ID-ologists are just barely beginning to understand that they've been walking around with their flies unzipped ever since. And now he's done the same or worse to Dembski -- or, better, allowed Dembski to do it to himself. Bravo!

Here, here! And Orr has a book in the works too, according to his Boston Review critique of NFL!

Heh heh... It turns out that Wesley Elsberry (owner of www.antievolution.org ) tried to register for the RAPID ("Research and Progress in Intelligent Design) conference held at BIOLA University on Oct 25-27 (The conference was sponsored by Dembski's own ISCID). It turns out that Wesley was shown the door -- they wouldn't even let him attend!

If you are too effective a critic of intelligent design creationism, you are "persona non grata" at "scientific" ID conferences hosted by Dembski and Co.

This thread at ISCID is interesting. Is it just me or does any one else think Waren Bergerson is simply the most boring participant ever no matter what side you are on?

pz: So call him jazzraptor or mod 4. There's no reason to use his real name, which won't be recognized by most people anyway, and there's good reason to avoid it -- it's one of the rules here to respect other people's requests for privacy.
DNAunion: Hmmmm...then would you mind instructing Principia and Pangloss to stop using my real name here?

That's already been done.

You can run along back to ARN now.

By the way, have you checked your PMs lately? Please do so, and I would appreciate an acknowledgment.

I'm suprised even creationists take him very seriously. I consider him to be even more dubious than Sarfati and Ham...
