Talking Stupid creationist quote of the day...

A local public school science teacher who is opposed to evolution made the remark (being serious) that "evolution couldn't be true otherwise bonobos and chimps would be walking out of the forest by the thousands volunteering to be made into humans."

Good for a laugh, maybe.

Wink

What's really dumb about it is that I'm sure chimps and bonobos have a lot more fun than humans. Why would they be demanding to wear clothes and have to restrict who they had sex with and when???

Lizard,

I suggest looking into chimp behavior in a bit more detail, doesn't all sound terribly fun.

I myself am satisfied with indoor plumbing, civilization and the joys of creationists.

Here's another. Last night I caught an evolution
program on one of the educational channels. They
showed a guy who's a geophysicist at Los Alamos,
but also a YEC Fundie:

"People who believe in evolution are gambling
their life on unverifiable claims and
assumptions...."

You must be referring to <a href="http://www.icr.org/creationscientists/physicalscientists.html" target="_blank">John Baumgardner</a>

That's the best he can do, ReHAshEd Pascal's Wager. What an idiot. Besides, it's not our life we're gambling, it's our afterlife.

On topic: Public school teacher said that eh? I'm almost glad that I went to Catholic School.
