Evolution
I have been studying Evolution for a few years now and find the subject to be fascinating and totally informative. I am a big fan of Richard Dawkins and have all of his books. What do you guy's think!

I think Dawkins is great. But I also think he's a topic for our Evolution/Creation forum. Bugs, etc., is a forum for issues regarding the IIDB itself.
I'm putting this in Evo/Cre. --W@L |

I always preferred the writing of Stephen Jay Gould.I cannot quite say why though. My own view of evolution is certainly more in line with Richard Dawkins than Gould. Maybe it is just because I came to Gould earlier, or because he wrote some of the first really interesting essays about development that I read.
I know he has his detractors but I still think Gould wrote in a more engaging style. |

Interesting, this personal taste thing. I find my mind wanders when reading Gould, and almost never does with Dawkins... or only off into inspired relevancies, not onto other matters entirely! <shrug>
