Sabine, cloning and gene-splicing have nothing to do with mind-control. If you don't want people to clone slaves (why wouldn't people simply breed slaves the old-fashioned way?) outlaw slaves. A (perfect) clone is just like a twin, only he/she would be more different from the parent/sibling than a twin since the birthdates are so much further apart.
Cloning and gene-splicing (and similar technologies) do have the potential to cure many many diseases. |
