Thumbs down

Another nutball site, I'm constantly amazed at the crap that is being taught as fact in some of our schools.

I'm also constanly amazed at Christians who all have the market cornered on the Holy Spirit:

From the "Our Souls are On the Line" thread:

"There are parts of the Bible to be taken literally and some figurativly as well as in a spiritual sense. To know the difference requires the HOLY SPIRIT. It also requires research and study. You seem to have studied. For this I commend you. But I too have studied and I disagree with your conclusions."

Exactly! I remember reading about two of Darwin's major supporters attending church interrogations. I forget their names, but I remember one of them proclaiming that he'd rather be related to an ape than any of the hypocrites he beheld there. I thought it was great!

Gould and Eldridge and Goldschmidt (paleontologists) said that a reptile laid an egg and a bird hatched from it. LOL! and you call the creationists wacko? (1977) is when they said this.

"Punctuated equilibrium" or "the hopeful monster" but the creationists say it is Gould and Eldridge who laid an egg.

Evolutionists say that evolution occurs via sudden large leaps rather than gradually and this is their "puntuated equilibrium" LOL!

Goldschmidt died in 1958, so how he was able to make any such claim in 1977 is something of a mystery.
