No, I don't agree with your hate-filled godspam!!!
Last week, practically the entire NDSU (North Dakota State University) campus was littered with the following flyer:
<in big, bold letters> "DO YOU AGREE WITH JON?" Followed by <a href="http://www.do-you-agree.com" target="_blank">this link</a>, and the e-mail address jonweek1@hotmail.com Of course, another xian, Chad, had to also terrorize the campus just across the river. So, this is a joint effort that seems to have only one purpose: to convert others into xianity. The website is filled with the usual stuff: a statement of faith, saying that jesus is the only way to salvation, etc. The "Four Spiritual Laws" section, if it were accompanied by a story, would look like a somewhat toned-down chick tract. But what I found most disturbing was the "Who Agrees?" section (where people who do agree sign their name). I found the signature of one of my best former Calculus students. Holy Crap! I was bored and went to the Chi Alpha (xian organization) page (linked to the "Do you agree?" website mentioned in the OP), and found this:

Hey, I went to NDSU until last year!
Do you remember an article in the Spectrum that was titled "The Bible is not a Good Moral Guide" by Christoph Aspelund? Written about October of 2000 in response to a homophobic letter to the editor. That was mine! They don't have it in the archives of the Spectrum. Maybe I should post it here. I got five e-mail responses to that one. One from Micheal Wishnatsky. If you're an atheist in Fargo, you know who I'm talking about. |

In the "do you agree" section you can put any name. I put "jesus hitler." I wonder how long it will stay.
