Jack T. Chick Comics
If you aren't already on it...check out this great site devoted to Jack T. Chick, the publisher of those crazy little comics intended to terrify the barely literate into converting. Great parodies are available through the site too.

I maintain that Jack Chick is one of the best arguments for supernatural evil influencing the world. Humans are not that hateful under normal circumstances.

Have you ever noticed how he portrays nearly everyone(that he doesn't like) as a stereotype? Bikers, truckers, criminals, all protrayed as stereotypes. Only an infantile mind would do that.

The best part is, I can use Chick tracts to annoy Catholics, and use Catholic writings to annoy Protestants, and I get to see both of them go into conniption fits without actually having to do anything myself!
I love pervasive in-fighting amongst my enemies. |

No, Fred Phelps is proof of supernatural evil on Earth. Chick is just proof of idiocy.

Still... Fred Phelps is one of the reasons I remain convinced in the supernatural. I have never before beheld someone so totally evil. Mere indifference to the fates of others is evil, but the kind of malice he shows is *AMAZING*. I simply can't imagine how anything built like a human brain could produce it without help. |

That's from the official site, so the links are more up to date. And here are heaps of online parody tracts. |

I just love the way that in the comic books he always has a half-naked, rather well built man in every one...
Do you think he's repressing something? --Egoinos-- |

Holy Crap!
After reading a parody of Chick's Somebody Loves Me, I checked the original. It seems the kid didn't repent before he died. Which means when the kid meets this lovable Jesus, he'll hear these words: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." * So, uh... yeah. (TM) *Matthew 25:41 |
