Default Underlying Message of Quran

"We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe …" [ Holy Quran 17.82]

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other [not that ye may despise (each other)] Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).
[ Holy Quran 49.13]

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZT! Yet another scientific error in the Qur'an! We're not descended from a single pair of a male and a female, we're descended from ape-like ancestors.

Another error on Your part. The verse mentions mankind, and pertains only to mankind. Do you want the verse to say that we are descended from Green algae or single cell organisms. Stop being so antsy and obstinate and appreciate the general beauty of a message.

You are beginning to sound silly to the general audience. What, You say we are not descended from a pair of male and a female? Are you implying that YOU are the product of Parthenogenesis?

Back that statement up with proof.

I challenge you to back up your statement with proof. Don't run away.

I think the only one here who continues to look silly is River.

Don't let your personal bias creep in.

I should say the same to you. In fact it appears I just did.

Sorry I've been gone for a few hours.

Quote:
May God take from you everything that takes you from him.
I like this, except for I would re-word it as "May YOU (River) take from you (River) everything that takes you (River) from him (I guess him means God). Get it??? I hope you actually meant what what I just said, instead of what I thought you said.

Quote:
But if I adore You for Yourself alone,
Do not deny to me Your eternal beauty" -Rabi'a
Yes I can agree with that, but, of course I don't think that came from the Quran because otherwise (based on your past behavior), you would have quoted the verse from the perfect book. I was hoping that the almighty Quran would answer that. Guess not. I suppose it needed a buddy or advocate to do that.

Quote:
Let me hide in You
From everything
that distracts me from You,
Okay, then try to drop your need for him. Looks like the need could end up being a major distraction, (as I explained, and you really didn't address). You told me IN CLEAR TERMS that you need him. You still haven't told me that you don't need Allah. You are hiding behind scriptures or verses, (or your favorite author -Rabi'a, I'm not sure which). So far you are nothing more than a parrot that knows how to repeat scriptures and nothing more. How did you think you would get ANYWHERE here by merely being a parrot (merely parroting already written down words)?? Often, parrots live in cages. Is that where you are living?

Also, I'll bring up my question on shooting stars in the same message just to be more efficient

I would love to reply, but I am not exactly sure what verse or concept you are referring to. Perhaps I know the answer...or maybe it is beyond me? Can you please clarify further....
Well I would think that you would know better than me because I am not a Muslim. If you don't, then maybe you shouldn't be a Muslim (or least tell people why they should be a Muslim). Do you know, I couldn't find that passage either. It's funny, but I searched for a very long time on Islamic wesites that want to tell people EVERYTIHNG ELSE that they would ever want to know, except for the topic that I was asking for. So here is the only thing that I found from a Muslim oriented website. Sorry, it's the best that I can do if most Islamic websites want to hide from this, but I didn't want to be unfair and take it from an anti-Islam site, I wanted to take it from a pro-Islam site

72: 8. `And, indeed, they thought, even as you think that Allah would never raise any Messenger,

72: 9. `And we sought to reach heaven, but we found it filled with strong guards and shooting stars,

72: 10. `And we used to sit in some of its seats to listen. But whoso listens now finds a shooting star in ambush for him,

http://www.alislam.org/quran/translation/72.html

Again, apparently there are other verses in the Quran that talk about this as well, but I can't find them anymore. It's like when someone raises a question about them, they disapear into thin air (at least from Islamic websites). I won't quote from anti-Islamic websites (and they all know about this topic and quote from the Quran) because it wouldn't be fair and possibly inaccurate due to their biased opinions. I'm asking YOU to answer this.

Stonewall if you want but it's your loss, not mine. Best wishes !!!

I cited Rab'ia a Sufi Muslim , as to show that praying to G-d can be inspired by Love, rather than Fear or selfish desire for a goal (i.e Eternal Bliss) She is obviously inspired by the Quran . Some of the quotes were strictly Rab'ias and not mine. Muslims make up a diverse population with their own unique perspectives. Islam is not a Monolith. However, there is the uncompromising belief of Unity of G-d.

Sura al Jinn is a Powerful verse in the Quran. It has grave metaphysical implications. I have heard that it has an Esoteric layer as well , although I do not know the exact specifics.

are you asking me to translate the verses according to science or merely interpret them?

P.S: I am muslim but there are some things that I do not have the answers to, although I do know alot about many verses as well as Scriptures like Book of Enoch, Gospel of Q, Gospel of Barnabus and other Apochrypha. I will try my best to answer your question to the best of my knowledge.
