Well we’ve had biology and physics, but no chemistry, so I’ll mention atomic theory.

If we're allowed to include "feats of engineering" under "science," then I vote for the printing press as #1 on my list. If we're sticking to "hard" sciences, then yes, I have to agree that the theory of evolution is certainly at the top of the list.

Discovery of Spherical Earth

Discovery of Pluto

Discovery of other solar systems and galaxies

Discovery of black hole

Discovery of Big Bang radiation

Well guys, these five discoveries should belong to the bottom five of the top ten past discoveries. Anyway, want to guess the future 'top ten discoveries'?
