Post Christian Forgiveness

Herbert von Karajan opened this topic in the Moral Foudation & Principals forum and it got closed in a jiffy--like two of mine did--in that oppressive, prudish immoral forum.

Part of why I became a christian was based on morality and definitely based on christian forgiveness. Well, I am here to tell you that christians aren't the least bit forgiving--just the opposite in fact. So, I am definitely considering becoming an atheist again. Karajan also posted something I found disturbilngly true that I give below:

Quote:
I also notice that this ideology has devastating effect on a Christian's mental health as one is taught to "accept that it is God's will and move on". A "true" Christian will follow faithfully to his/her God's orders, but in the process, trauma and stress accumulates because that Christian is suppressing him/herself too much.
How can it be traumatic and stressful to be forgiving? I would think the opposite would be the case. Please explain this to me.
