Question Old Thread From about a year or so ago?????

Hello, i have been lurking on the site for a long time, but had taken a break for a few months. I remember a thread about a year or more ago that was about using geology to disprove this lady who argued in favor of a "young earth" and other blblical stuff. Anyway, if i remeber correctly, this debate was incrediably long (many pages) and there was i believe one guy who did most of the posting against her. It was either started or finished on this forum, and i remeber something about that arguement taking place on a Lake Tahoe forum. Again, i am sorry for being so vague in my recollection, but this is the best i remeber it. If anyone perhaps saved it, or if it is archived somewhere, please let me know. BTW, it was one of the most informative posts i have ever read. Thanks again, Al.

I vaguely recall that thread, have you tried a search for that thread, just put "geology", "young earth" in the keyword and restrict your search to the time periods where you think the thread may have occured. You'll probably have to do a bit of trial and error before you get what you're looking for.

I remember it. A guy from a Lake Tahoe discussion board came over here to get help arguing with a creationist, who went by the name of Connie. I may be wrong on the user names, but I believe "dbhunter" went over there and joined their thread. She refused to believe that geological strata could be produced any other way than by a Noachian flood. I lurked there for a bit and then got into it with her on biological evolution. The original Lake Tahoe forum is no longer there. The clique of forum participants moved to a new site, but I think it died off from lack of participation. The original thread in forum was in August or September of 2001.

I tried to find it myself but the archives are currently hidden. Should be easy to locate when the archives are available again. Anything in particular you're looking for?
