Deuteronomy 21: 18-21:

Quote:
18 If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." 21 Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
Yes, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Matthew 5:22...but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Now you've done it. Your bible quote of the day is sending straight to the pit of Hell.

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Dr S,

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment . Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

-Matthew 5:22

You are taking the last sentence out of context

That's only a valid complaint it the meaning changed and it did not.

So what is the purpose of the OP? It seems to be the bible slandering people who don't believe it's nonsense, instead of giving them reasons to. Why do you Xians insist on quoting the bible to Atheists? We couldn't care less about what it says. Are you just trying to be rude for the sake of rudeness?

Dr S,

16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
-Mark 16:16

It is not rudeness that propels me to quote the Bible to an unbeliever, but the only thing that can - love of one's soul.

The fool will post a stupid verse we've all heard a hundred times before thinking he's being original.
