Matthew 5:22...but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Now you've done it. Your bible quote of the day is sending straight to the pit of Hell. [ September 03, 2002: Message edited by: Dr S ]</p> |

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Dr S,
22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment . Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. -Matthew 5:22 You are taking the last sentence out of context |

That's only a valid complaint it the meaning changed and it did not.
So what is the purpose of the OP? It seems to be the bible slandering people who don't believe it's nonsense, instead of giving them reasons to. Why do you Xians insist on quoting the bible to Atheists? We couldn't care less about what it says. Are you just trying to be rude for the sake of rudeness? |

Dr S,
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. -Mark 16:16 It is not rudeness that propels me to quote the Bible to an unbeliever, but the only thing that can - love of one's soul. |
