Thumbs down A PHOTO of a Living Dinosaur -- creationism proven!

<idiot class="moron" type="YEC">

Okay evilutionists, we have proof that that the world is six thousand years old since we at last have a photographic proof of a living Apatosaurus:

And that is not all! Here is picture one of its footprints with a footprint of a boot inside it:

So give it of you evilutionists. You have been proven wrong!

If that is an Apatosaurus than one wall and no roof is a mansion. (Apologies to Samwise.)

Reverend Paley ?? It's gotta be satire. But damn good satire. Look at the banner ads at the bottom of the pages!

It has been suggested as a hoax site. But I don't think so. The site makes many serious links to creationist web sites and is trying to sell Christian merchandise, movies, etc. If it is a hoax, it not a parody but an attempt to part the gullible from their money. Thus it clearly not parody in the classic sense.

And if it is a supposed to be parody, it is such a large site with so little that could be considered funny that one wonder what would be the point.

That's a damn good parody site. But there are certainly a few giveaway parts that make it a clear spoof, the best of which is Zounds!

I mean, check out the song titles. "Y.M.C.A (It's Fun To Pray)" and "Our God Is A Rockin' God"?

I always like to see parody sites get taken seriously, though. I suggest reading through the "Prayerbook", for some really good laughs.

And I might add, that the site is hosted by a Christian organization (or one that says it is for financial gain).

That does look to goofy to be taken seriously. But then again one could say that about much of what is said by fundies with full seriousness.

Could this be someone trying to make money off idiot fundies by making a fake fundy site? If this is true then this somene has little respect for the fundies.

This just seems to have way too little funny and/or blasphamous material to have been worth the effort to make. It would be like discovering that Kent Hovind had been doing intential parody all this time.

I'm very sure it's a joke. Check some of the profiles of the authors. They list institutional affiliations which don't exist (to Fellowship University - F.U.) and ridiculous specializations like Theobiology (Dr. Richard Paley allegedly teaches Theobiology at F.U., and the name itself is obviously a take off on Richard Dawkins' The Blind Watchmaker).

It is a well-made hoax though, good enough to take in the server (which isn't).
