A mind-numbing letter from Pakistan, with religious thinking at its worst.

"Is it not really a miracle that the world's sole superpower, having all the means to even find a needle in the bottom of the sea, could not find Osama during the last 10 months? Would this have occurred without the blessing of Allah?"

Now if "God" could make GWB disappear, I would be joining my local Pentecostal Church.

I guess Allah didn't care enough to bless the Taliban.

I say, yes. There are gods at work behind this war. This is a war between Allah on one side, and Jehovah and his European-native allies on the other. All kinds of things prove it. For example, the earthquakes that shook Afghanistan were indeed produced by our gods. Allah caused the explosions that were our main casualties. But our military and our gods are more powerful, and we won. And by the way, Jamie_L, Allah would have liked to bless the Taliban, but was defeated. And you will recall that their leader, Mullah Muhammed Omar, did escape. Looks like he was blessed by his god.

He did, but the talaban was chock full of pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays and lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the Afgani Way, all of whom had tried to secularize Afganistan.

The Daily Ummat is jumping the gun in a big way. In ten years or so we'll vote Jenna Bush into the White House. She'll get bin Laden for her dad, just like Wubba's gonna get Hussein for his dad.

You forgot about the PFAW (People For the Afghani Way) and the other atheists. And then, of course, you had those who opposed the destruction of the Buddah statues.

And how dare you state the heresy of lifting veils under the righteous Taliban rule - women were properly kept there.

A corrolant idea is that the Roman Catholic church probably IZZ divinely-sustained by God! a breathtaking thought.... beCUZZ, given the idiots and jerks and rotters who run it, only the intervention of God-Hisself could have kept it in existence for 2000 y.....
