Cool Oral Sex and the Bible?

What does the bible say, if anything, about oral sex?

I've stumbled on this topic here, and can't understand why it is considered sinful.

I don't know much about the bible, but I do know a lot about...oops, wrong board.

Gosh, I read somewhere that, "you are what you eat." Let me look for that reference.

LOL!!!

I made a very candid post, which was not insulting, used the correct terminology, and it was deleted!! I wish I'd saved the text.

I got rapped on the knuckles. My post was about clitoral stimulation in foreplay and how that is condusive to female orgasm in intercourse, which is condusive to successfully becoming pregnant - which is what christian sex is all about, right? So how could cunilingus, at least, be sin?

Where in the bible does it say oral sex is 'dirty' and a sin?

If the marriage bed is undefiled by that perverted act, then what defiles the marriage bed-or does nothing defile it? What about another perverted act, rape, murder. . .?

Just because two people are married, that does not give them a 'license' to do whatever they want. So excluded as sinful are perverted acts, rape, murder, "role playing," etc.
I'm not as anti-theist as many on these boards, but this guy's attitude reflects what I disdain most about theists; their need to impose their particular interpretation of their holy passages to the rest of us. And sexual activities always seem to be their first target for holy interdiction.

Who is he to decide what is perverted? I pity his partner, if he can keep one around. Oral sex is a life skill!

Agreed, JAI.

I wonder if true christian women (tm) have ever had an orgasm?

Does the bible state anywhere that the only sex a married couple may have is missionary, no foreplay. Not only is that sad, but ...er.... ouch. You need some stimulus before the dastardly deed!!

Does anyone know about Oral sex in the Song of Songs? (And what is the Song of Songs?)

Theists, what's your take on this?

Well, as a token theist, I really don't see any problem there. I really can't even find a frame of reference in which to discuss such a thing. No harm, no foul.

Well,he just closed it. Hopefully one of the older, more mature mods will reopen it. There is about a 50/50 chance on that.

It doesn't say in the bible anywhere, (As far as I know) that foreplay etc is sinful.
A Sheep does this kind of thing often. I don't know what his problem is.

To answer your first question..yes, as often as possible.

I REALLY wanted to comment on that thread too.

I know what his problem is. He's sexually insecure. This guy reeks of performance anxiety. To compare an act of love-making, giving and receiving sexual pleasure, with murder and rape is sick!

If I read the icons correctly, he's an 18yo male. If at that tender age he's already decided which acts of sexual enjoyment are against God's word he has major issues with his sexuality.

Ohhhh honey, I heard about this crazy thing some lovers do... No way babycakes, that's a sin! Our love is too pure for that sort of behavior!
A candidate for some institutionally celibate order full of other young men at a loss with what to do about their sexuality.

Sorry LunaChick, I hope your thread doesn't get sent to the rants forum on my account.

Don't worry about it. If it does, it does.

Hi, Annabel Lee and seebs - I recognise you from that forum and must say that you are among those I have some respect for. You are not caught in the dogma like some, and have shown an open mind and tolerance in all things, rather than just spouting scripture with no point to it. Thanks for stopping by.

FWIW, "A Sheep" nuked my thread the other day where I pointed to the Onion article about "God late for local wedding". No sense of humor A-tall.
