I wish you could get her during her normal times to see a counselor or someone who can evaluate if she suffers of any chemical unbalance or something related to a neurone defficiency of some kind.
She happened to have made a fixation on religion but it could have been anything else. Was her mother the same way ?

Sabine,
My father dumped my mom for a non-religious woman who drank and smoked and commited adultery.. eeek He bought a cowboy hat and boots and moved to a little town called Plains, Montana. He died a couple years later. I sometimes wonder if she drove him nuts. My brother in Canada won't speak to her. It was right after she had some revelation and was BORN AGAIN!!!! She has been intolerable since then. (except for our truces which I started after I found this website) I actually had to tell her to SHUT UP. This time I didn't back down.

I would like to get her to a counselor but I'm scared of what would happen, She seems right on the edge of insanity when the subject comes up. Maybe over the edge. Her mother was not a church goer and she never talked about it, but she made sure my mom got to church every Sunday. I think I could hold my own with a church counselor by asking if her techniques would work on ANYONE!!! SHe is always right and that's that! She knows the real Truth... but she has a vile mouth. I was pushed over the edge once, but that's another story.

It may sound stupid, but I know I have a mother inside her somewhere. I just want to find my real mom.

We can talk on PM sometime about " finding the real mom". If we continue in the open, we are going to cause Amos to burst in tears and the mod to tell us we are off topic.......it would be a neat thing to start a thread on this topic. Maybe we can whip up something.

And that means what? Your going there after Judgement anyway - sure you will get to try and plead your case before God but you are gonna fail miserably so what difference does it make? Might aswell get started early.

How can you worship such a sick, cruel god? Don't you see how FUCKING INSANE it is to have someone tortured for ETERNITY simply because they chose the wrong religion or cult?!?

People like you and your fellow fundies have really helped me to understand how so many supported monsters like Hitler. Your monster may be imaginary, but the fact that you worship of such a being says a lot about your character.

He doesn't send you to Hell because you chose the wrong religion - you go there because you are covered in sin, an eternal criminal with a permanent record.

And again, YOU CHOOSE to go to Hell. You just said you would never worship him even if he existed - you just made your choice where you want to be. Hell is just separation from God and without God there to keep your soul alive, it is tormented forever. God is not sitting down there spinning your unredeemed soul over a fire like a barbecue. Your soul is tormented for eternity because you chose to spend eternity without him - since God is the creator and sustainer of souls - your soul dies without him - thats what hell is. You may not believe in God be he still cares about and supports you - hence why you aren't tormented right now - God is still around. In Hell he's gone forever.

Hell is not a torture chamber found in China. Its just how bad things get when God is no longer there. If God abadoned you on Earth, your soul would die here too. God is the reason your soul isn't already dead. But since you want to go to Hell - you want to spend eternity without him - hence die ( souls are eternal so they can't actually cease to exist).

Did god create the souls? I assume he does, since he created everything right? and he has to keep them alive.
