1) The reality is that abstinence has a rather high failure rate. Sure, it's a human failing but so are most other contraceptive failures.

Since slaveowners are most impacted by abolition, they should have the most say in the legality of slavery. So you do now support the idea that since men have least say in parenthood or abortion, they have little obligation?

The point was how to resolve an otherwise 50/50 deadlock. Also, I was talking about individual abort/adopt/keep decisions, not the overall legality of abortion. Thus your comparison is utterly off target.
