Default TheologyWeb Affirmation

Quote:

"The administration including those who hold the position of moderators vary on many points of theology but all are required at a minimum to affirm these things:

There is one living and true God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary being fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life and through His substitutionary death, atoned for our sins. He was bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven. He will return bodily, personally, and visibly. We believe in the future bodily resurrection of all persons, the just and the unjust, and the Final Judgment. We believe that all of the Scriptures (the Bible consisting of Old and New Testaments) to be the final authoritative source for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. We believe in the Church universal, which is the living spiritual Body of Christ, of which all believers are members. It is well understood that all participants on this forum will not or do not affirm the above statement of faith in part or whole.

This is by no means a regulation for participation at TheologyWeb or in any way serves as a censor , through interaction we seek to learn and educate.

Sincerely, Your TheologyWeb Admin team!"

Christianity has taken the Trinity of one god from the Indian Trinity 'Brahm', 'Vishnu' and 'Shiva. doormann.org/the0.htm. Jesus Christ, as taken from the gospels is a figure constructed from several ancient myths, which is composed to already existing parables, known as Sayings from the so called 'Gospel of Thomas'. A gospel is a special form of poetry, with no claim of any history reality. From this no causal actions are possible to present real human beings. The copyright of the OT Scripture is hold by Jewish writers from B.C.E. A church is a self-created secular social hierarchy power trust in this world without any mandate to act in commission of the spiritual world.

All this can be discussed. But if a discussion board like TheologyWeb blocks discussions and panelist’s about the kernels of Christianity by such claims, it shows that this board is worthless from the theological point of view to people, who are free from church's affirmation slavery.

What a pity.
