I have, unfortunately, found a critical flaw in my reasoning earlier. In order for another change to the pledge to echo the 1950's addition, it should be something achievable. Kinda hard for non-whites to become white. So now there are three criteria:

1. Consistent with the majority opinion

2. Agrees with the Founding Father's beliefs or practices

and

3. Must be achievable

Which oddly leads me closely to another thread I started. I now have:

"One carnivorous nation, under God..."

I believe this meats, I mean meets, the above criteria. Again, it adds nothing of substance, it would just piss people off for no good reason. I might just agree with this one, though, 'cause everybody knows them vegetarians are nothing but tree-huggin', leftist, secular-humanists.
