Post Godless March: Best Banner

Whether it is on a sign, or a banner, or a T-shirt, what short, quick phrase do you think would be best in terms of favorable impact?

So, a "FUCK JESUS" shirt would be out of the question? Not to condusive to tolerence, but you stand a better chance of getting on tv.

That is the primary reason it's out of the question.

Not to mention that we have no quarrel with Jesus, whether Jesus is one of our favorite fictional characters or just some misunderstood, misquoted historical schmuck who is being misused by the so-called Religious Right.

(I'm assuming you didn't mean that slogan to be literal.)

There a bunch of good ones. That have already been stated in the threads about the pledge ruling, and American Atheist sayings.

My favorites simplified to slogans would be:
-Under God or Indivisible, Pick one.
-In God YOU trust
-No more theocracy
-Christian founding? So, why did we have to add God to the pledge.

Some I've seen:
-No taxation without representation
-I'm an American Atheist

Some origionals(or at least I have never seen them used):
-Churches don't pay taxes, I do. Where's my representation
-The Christian Right has done me wrong
-Macarthy did not found this country
-Carr for Prez 2016*

*(I'll be 35 in 2016, and I'm an atheist)

Maybe the slogan/logo of your favorite organization might be appropriate. My vote is for II and/or AU. Think positive here. Stay with a positive message. Endorse organizations fighting FOR something positive.

Avoid negative. fuckjesus.com would definitely not advance our cause. It would play right into the hand of the fundy media machine. Don't give them ammunition they can use against us.
