Cool philosophy on philosophy here.

I never studied philosophy, but that never stopped me from philosophying.

To me philosophy, is honestly pondering thoughts that reflect on life, how we relate to it, and how we relate to ourselves.

I can't help but get the impression, that philosophy in general strays from answers, rather then to pursue them.

Overasserting ones brain to stupendously elaborate on a train of thought, seems to be considered entirely more important, then where that train is headed.

I think a brief stroll through the variaty of posts on this board, offers plenty of examples of that.

Your thoughts on mine please....

Isn't it interesting that philosophy is a subject that can include the study of itself as part of its subject matter?
IMO, philosophy is foundational to the study of any subject area. (The history of a subject is also important, but I always found the subject of history to be dull in comparison with philosophy.)

This has not been my experience; especially at sites like <a href="http://www.philosophypages.com" target="_blank">this one</a>, and <a href="http://www.epistemelinks.com" target="_blank">this one</a>.
