Discussion on radio right now
Howdy,
For anybody who is interested, there is a discussion going on right now about the pledge case. Specifically how the mother is now trying to get the court to remove her daughter's name from the suit. I'd love to hear some of you guys chime in with your thoughts on the topic. (I'm ...uh, *bad* at debating..heh) If you're in the bay area, the station is KGO (810 am) or you can listen over the web at kgo.com. Regards, Sean btw, I wasn't too sure if this would be the appropriate place for this thread, but it seems to have the church-state ref. I'm sorry if there was a better place for it Edit: Fyi, the host agrees with Newdow, but dislikes his involvement of the daugher [ August 05, 2002: Message edited by: SeanM ]</p> |

Yup - I saw that on the news today.
According to her lawyer, the (ex)wife has had sole custody of the girl since Feb 2nd, 2002 and has sole responsibility for her education. She also said that her daughter believes in gawd and doesn't want her to be known as "that atheist girl". *sigh* It's gonna get interesting. . . . |
