So all these people will be bare-assed in heaven?

Hey, does Jesus wear clothes or is he freeballing too?

Roxanne:1. And it came to pass in those days that Roxanne, a much beloved and beautiful though somewhat silly disciple of the IPU was spreading the holy word to a multitude of the unwashed masses. 2. And verily they did smell most foul and had teeth missing and often spat upon the ground. 3. And Roxanne saith unto them "Hear the word of her Holiness the Invisible Pink Unicorn, who makes the unclean clean and and as fresh smelling as her invisible pink pastures except the day after a party when they actually smell rather like regurgitated ham and pineapple pizza"
4. And there was much belching and flatulence. 5. And she continued, "Her Invisible Pinkness calls these the Do-beatitudes and so you shall do be them." 6. And there was much snoring and nose picking as she spoke, 7. " Blessed are the ignorant, for they entertain us and are easy targets."

Proverbs of Mordigan:12; If you understand what I speaketh then you shall have the undertanding of that which I speak. 13; With this undertanding, blessings and good stuff will happen to you, 14; unless thou is unlucky, in which case it sucks to be you.15; The understanding of understanding is the root of all understanding. 16; Without an understanding of this understanding, thou shalt lack the understanding of the understanding, 17; and thou shalt not understand what thou doesth not understand, understand?

I hope my point was clearly stated.

If you didn't think my message had much meaning, or it seemed a bit incoherent, maybe you understand why quoting bible verses means so very little to us.

Where do you get the part about piles of clothes being left? I read all the verses you quoted and not one of them talks about people disappearing and leaving their clothes behind.

Sorry. The AntChrist, though. You gotta admit that's funny.</strong>

And I think it's much more likely that the world will fall under the control of the US, not the EU, at least in our lifetime. If you know of a way for Europe to out-superpower the US, let me know.

Fast Falcon,
Enjoying your thread.

Many theologians that I used to read(during my pretrib, premil days) such as R.C. Sproul, John Piper, John Gerstner and others, brilliant God fearing praying men, experts in Biblical reading and interpretation, were not pretrib, premil guys. They ranged from amillineal to postmil men. Why do you think you have a more correct interpretation of scripture than they do?
Why are you so sure that you are right? They interpret the passages you quote differently than you. Why do you think God doesn't lead all of you to a consistent interpretation of eschatology?

Care to make a little wager on this?

Set a date. If they aren't true by then, you owe
me 1 million dollars (pinky to mouth). If they
are true by then, I owe you 1 million dollars.

BTW: All the predictions you just made must be true.

Well?

I`ve heard Pat Robertson talk about this baloney as well.

He was saying something about how you`ll be driving in your car one day and suddenly the rapture will come. Any Christians in the car will vanish leaving their clothes behind while any heathens in the car will be left behind wondering what happened.
I think he even went as far as to say that the remaining heathens in the car would crash.

Of thoses ideas, I think about the same as I do of the part in Aesop's fables where it says that an elephant has a long nose because an alligator grabbed ahold of it and pulled really hard. i.e. they are both make-believe.
