Creationists understand science perfectly well
Just when I thought I'd seen it all, I find this:
<a href="http://www.theologyonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=ca7ac3d5adbe7f26def18f54675d5e60& threadid=4061" target="_blank">http://www.theologyonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=ca7ac3d5adbe7f26def18f54675d5e60& threadid=4061</a> A few points: - There is no sound in space! Without a medium, such as air, a wave cannot propagate!!!!!!! (I think that deserved 7, don't you?). - It had the word "echo" in quotes. When a word is in scare quotes, that tends to mean that it isn't to be taken literally. - The original article uses an analogy to compare temperature harmonics to the harmonics of musical notes. It doesn't have anything to do with sound, because it's an ANALOGY. I'd post a reply there , but I can't get an account on TO, for some reason. |

Many creationists understand science perfectly well. Unfortunately, those that do must resort to lies to push their agenda. Paraphrasing Norman Mailer, creationism, like fascism, deadens reality by smothering it with lies.
