No I'm not. That is the assumption that the FAA has been acting under for the last 20 or 30 years. That's also the reason nobody took any action on the first three planes and the terrorists were able to complete their mission. It was only on the 4th plane where the passengers got word of the other crashes that they fought back.
To the contrary, I am under the assumption that the mission of terrorists is more important then their own life. However, they can't complete their mission if they are dead. If there had been a real fear of retaliation from others on the plane, they would not have have attempted what they did. |
