Are believers entertaining or what?
This from News of the Weird. Notice the name of the town in TEXAS that the two dimwits happen to hail from.

Answer: Neither of them are likely to wind up in heaven, because heaven doesn't exist!
Believers are entertaining. We passed a church sign this morning that said, "Who is your king: Elvis or Jesus?" I nearly fell out of my seat. -Perchance. [Edited to add: Not that I think it's good that a believer died, just that I can't believe they were fighting over something so ridiculous]. [ August 24, 2002: Message edited by: Perchance ]</p> |

This post would be entertaining if it wasn't so damn scary. If they would shoot each other over such a matter, what would they be willing to do to atheists?

Texas... isn't that the state where people are alowed to cary guns in the street, so they can feel safe around all the people carying guns in the street?
Hmmm, makes perfect nonsense to me. |

Texas a few years back became one of many states that issues permits to carry concealed handguns (with background checks and training required, and with restrictions on where they may be carried). Prior to that, it was against the law in Texas for anyone to carry a handgun on the street (with a very few exceptions.) Everyone in Texas doesn't walk down the street with a pistol on their hips, folk myth and legend notwithstanding.
