Thumbs down Is creation a self-contradiction?

If all material had to be created by something, who, then, created the Creator? If nothing created the Creator, isn't that denying the assumption that a creation had to occur?

It is a Mystery , and you are not supposed to meddle with things that men were not meant to know.

And this is when you delve into infinite regression. Hence, there must be an unmoved mover.

Such as infinite regression itself!

You are all so burdened by this silly concept of time.

Mr. Dino: If you were walking in the woods and saw a God hanging from a tree, you'd know there couldn't be a designer!

Yeah. Convenient when you don't have to deal with reality or logic, eh?

It is exactly the advantage of infinite recessions that they remove the need for special pleading ("All moving things had to be moved, but some things need no movers").

Those who cannot conceive an infinite regression should be classified with those who cannot conceive time dilation or quantum entanglement. Reality is not bound by the speculation of some philosophers.

HRG.

Nor by the relatively primitive constructs of todays religions.
