This would make quite a good story, actually--like Shrek. A troll who thinks he's a knight, trying to save damsels and what-not, but ends up just freaking everyone out because he's a troll. Can't go in the sun, eats the people he's trying to save. Instead of using people's inner good, has a mysterious use for anger and hatred. Hmm.

Smile

I seriously think Matthews is mentally ill. On the bright side, we all got a good laugh out of his idiocy tonight.

Talking

How is your not doing? You should be very careful what you feed them, otherwise they will become malnourished. It also needs a soft place to sleep--a shoebox and towel should do nicely.

I’m so ashamed. I didn’t even know I had a not! I will do my very best to take care of him now. I’m just glad Davey informed me of my not. Davey also said my not was an atheist, so maybe he can register here soon!

I have a theory:
So do we...

Miss Tricia doesn't know the Scriptures, doesn't comprehend the Scriptures and doesn't have a clue what she is talking about.
This is a good thing.

Her life is filled with trouble and instead of dealing with the problems directly she has projected them on to the Bible.
How is questioning her belief's 'trouble'? Actually, it's a reasonable thing to do considering the alternative.

That is why she is a Damsel in Distress. 'Tis a pity that someone so young and impressionable can't find anyone to help her in her teenage angst.
She doesn't need any help. As long as she uses reason and logic in her decision making, she will be fine. Teenage years were the most trying time for me and I'm sure other's will agree. But, we survived and can look back on the chaos and smile. Isn't life grand.

Tricia should spend more time at the mall. I think that it would do her well.
I'm sure Tricia is capable of finding her own amusements without input from us.

Oh, and Tricia, about never becoming atheist: never say never.

Anunnaki: Don't wish to be like anyone but yourself. I enjoy your presence on the boards. I wish I could send you daisies.

A little help for you Tricia

To David Matthews:

Why faith in your life if it has been drawn from the human intellect and senses which you deem unsatisfactory in reality?

Everything you have learned, percieved, sensed has come from reality. Your imagination and belief of god stems from observations of reality.
The bible exists in reality, the scriptures exist in reality. Once again.. How do you put your trust in them as it takes your intellect and senses to interpret them?

Tell me David, what qualifies you to judge, help, question, or answer anybody in this world?

Tricia needs compassion, love, and understanding. By trying to scare her, make her feel guilty, telling her what to do.. you only embarrass yourself as a christian David.

Telling her to become an atheist, or go hang out at the mall.. telling her she'd make a very poor christian.. this isn't love David, this isn't the love of a christian either.

How about you tell tricia to do what's right in her heart and that her happyness is your happyness? Perhaps you could talk about your faith and what it has done for you. Lead by example David. Fuck quoting the bible and what not. Just be human.. is that asking too much?
