Funny, I don't remember discussing religion with my last car dealer.</strong>
I do...While we were sitting in the room haggling over the last few dollars SOMEHOW it came up whether we had gone to church the previous Sunday. I'm usually always game for this conversation, but we had been there a while and I was ready to go, so I just gave him an evasive "no..." But then he pressed the issue and told us how we "needed to get that baby to church" (we had previously mentioned that we had a daughter). For some reason, besides the obvious fact that it was none of his business, it REALLY rubbed me wrong, so I told him that I was an atheist. He was not as ardent as this guy (IE-he still wanted my money), so he backed off a little. We ended up walking away from the deal. (Those "last few dollars" suddenly became deal-breakers for me - not to say I couldn't have been bought. )
