Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Since Adam and Eve did NOT die on that day, then this can be considered a lie. ------ Browsing the wedsite some more, the bookstore contains these authors: Dr. Hugh Ross William Dembski Jim Schicatano David G. Oh no, wait, I mean that . . . when God said "day" he meant "era." No, hang on, it's actually that . . . Adam and Eve DID die that very day -- just in a spiritual sense, not a physical sense. Oh wait, it's actually . . . oh, drat. Magus, what was the excuse this week? I just can't remember. Dave |

I thought the idea was that our heroes adam and eve were going to be immortal in the garden, and only became mortal after eating the thingy off the plant.
So god can't lie, but he can play clever little jokes. |
