Post Evidence for the Flood

In a documentary on SBS in Sydney the other night a scientist studying rainfall patterns in Israel described a twenty percent drop in rainfall coincident with the decline of the Old Kingdom in Egypt as being the most significant rainfall event in the last five thousand years.

Well it's not exactly evidence *for* the Flood, but it is evidence.

P.S. I think her name was Mira bar Mathews and the method she was using was Oxygen isotope ratios in the water trapped in stalactites.

Ok, that's plausible. A millennial drought causing the decline of a Kingdom.

If it's not evidence for the flood, what is it evidence for?

Remember evidence for anything should tend to exclude alternative explanations.

Fascinating!

It's evidence for the absence of a flood. Hence the emphasis on *for*. Sorry if I was a bit obscure.

This topic is more appropriate for the "Bible" forum as it does not directly relate to evolution and creation.
