Has anyone run across anything like an on-line "Handy Dandy Verse Refuter"? You know, sometimes when a Christian throws a verse at me I'd like a resource where I can type in the verse and get a verse that says or means something like the opposite.

The Skeptic's Annotated Bible is always handy. The Blue Letter Bible is also a very good resource - it lines up all the different translations so you can compare them.

Unfortunately it won't get you very far. Most stuff is very contextual, and so simply finding a verse that appears to say the opposite of another, which is quite easy to do, is usually an exercise in futility (though it may help your understand it better).

Of course there are a few well known contradictions, especially in the gospels, but then the bible never said that the gospels were error free, so it doesn't prove anything.
