Verse refuter?
Has anyone run across anything like an on-line "Handy Dandy Verse Refuter"? You know, sometimes when a Christian throws a verse at me I'd like a resource where I can type in the verse and get a verse that says or means something like the opposite.

The Skeptic's Annotated Bible is always handy. The Blue Letter Bible is also a very good resource - it lines up all the different translations so you can compare them.

Of course there are a few well known contradictions, especially in the gospels, but then the bible never said that the gospels were error free, so it doesn't prove anything. |
