I just came across this today and I was just wondering if any of the members here have heard of this Betty Bowers and Pastor Deacon Fred? I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the correct forum, if not, please let me know since I am new here. Thanks.... Blessnot http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0503/atheists.html |

Hi BlessNot -
Landover Baptist is a parody site. It's great genius is made explicit by the huge number of people who can't tell it's a fake. Now may I suggest you support the good works of La Bower and purchase a WWJD thong? |

You are an "atheist" if you don't conform to THEIR fantasies. So their 'busybody' membership is supposed to harass decent people for being "different". Just remember the "zoot-suit riots" in Los Angeles, and you can see what they want to do! 1) "Athiests" have puss-colored skin: overt racism 2) "Atheists" are overweight: so is 1/4 of Amerika 3) "Atheists" have too many diplomas: quite neo-nazi --they hated educated people, too! 4) "Atheists" Decieve: what constitutes deception? does it include "self-deception"? 5) "Atheists" are 'afraid': any new born fawn knows enough to be afraid of a wolf...even in sheep's clothing! So, you better go buy a gun. |

You mean Betty Bowers isn't real? I was just about to tithe to her ministry, too. By the way, her Bush T-shirts are must-haves.

I find that the funniest things on the site are the 'letters to Landover'. People (both religious and atheist) vent quite humorously there. After a month or two, I will just go to that area and get a serious laugh.
Don't forget to check out whitehouse.org, it's run by the Landover folks also. RD |

I love Mrs. Betty Bowers. I get her newsletter along with Landover's every month. I highly recommend, if they're still available, sending an e-buke to all your friends.
