You could try InfidelChat which is not affiliated with Internet Infidels but many from here do participate there.

Hey, I'm from Northern Illinois as well.

Do yourself a major favor and get the hell out. Then find a new gal, and get a motorcycle. Or get the motorcylce first to help with finding the gal. Or maybe just get a motorcycle, make IT your second love, and forget about the gal.

Wonko The Sane - for sure one of my favorite fictional characters!

You have a golden gate that just opened for you. No longer do you have strings that once held you down. I bet...there is something you wanted to do, but banished the thought because you knew she would not approve of it. Go do it now.
If you got married young....you never got the chance to explore the single side of living. Yes your alone most of the time, but is that a bad thing? If you wish to be or talk with some one, you only have billions to choose from out there.
If any one tells you this: "She just was not the right one for you,...the right one is still out there waiting for you." Just tell them this: "Yea, she is out there, one down.....30 million left to go." =)

Time is on your side.

I can sympathize with your situation. When you build you life around someone for so long, this is seemingly about the worst thing that could happen. One thing to remember is, as humans, we have a great capacity to regroup and move on. How could we survive otherwise? Just live in the moment for awhile. Have some adventures. You have noone to answer to You will likely find much good in life soon enough. There may be a bit of cynacism that you will never shake, but its a survival instinct, work with it

Sincerely,

Bud
