More on paleoanthropology
One site that I check on is Anthropology in the News and the latest updated has a few things of interest.
The dating of the South African australopithicenes has always been difficult due to the lack of volcanic layers that can be directly dated by conventional radiometric dating. A new study suggests that they are much younger than previously expected. See this. I have already mentioned the rediscovery of a great Neadertal baby skeleton. Well the some more Neadertal materials have also been discovered. See this |
