I'm catholic and I believe in miracles. However I am not familiar with each and every miracle attributed to each and every saint but I absolutely believe in them...
This one involving Mother Theresa is hard to say it is a "miraculous healing" since the woman was being treated medically..

Why is it that only "believers" see these miracles? Why don't miracles ever occur in the laboratory with neutral observers?

So you`re not even familiar with the miracles attributed to the saints,but you still believe them anyway? Even though you don`t even know how farfetched and totally unproven some of them may be?

This makes no sense at all to me.

Do you believe in the Loch Ness monster and bigfoot? If you don`t,would you automatically believe they were real if the Pope said they were?

perhaps you should read my post again. I clearly stated I am not familiar with each and every one. I cant comment on the ones that the previous poster used since I am not familiar with those. Perhaps Gemma may know more about those particular saints.

The so-called ability to see miracles can buttress faith, and faith is sometimes underpinned by a desire to see divine intervention as proof positive for the existence of a deity. Kind of like how some people actually believe that crop circles are created by extraterrestrials, rather than by very human, but also rather artistic hoaxters.

Maybe this is a ploy to divert attention from the molestation scandals. Give the faithful something positive to think about.
