What would you do if you were god?
I would cancel myself. I mean - cancel religion and everybody would become atheists. Yahoo!

Oh, man, I'd be all like "SMITE!" and shit, anyone who I didn't like would be an instant lightning rod.
No, if you mean "what would I do if I suddenly became omnipotent", I'd probably leave Earth behind and go exploring. I mean, I could inflict peace and security and love on the world, but what would be the point? How long would it last, if people still had free will? I would rather vanish, taking my powers with me, than meddle with the world and risk validating the beliefs of religious fundamentalists. |

Nah... I would "rapture" the fundies, except to hell, but only the vilest hateful fundies. Anybody who decided to become an evil SOB because of it, would join them.

Re: What would you do if you were god?
I would be so busy playing godly games and looking around this HUGE reality, that's it's unlikely you all would ever see me. You would be on your own.
You might THINK I care, but really I just can't be bothered. Hmm... |

Probably be a lot less likely to tease mankind with natural disasters and famines etc. I can hardly think of a way of behaving more badly than the Xtian so called "God"

If I was god I would immediately, permanantly cease concerning myself with any human affairs.
(come OFF it people. What the hell do you care about famines and smiting when you are god? Do humans care about the want of ameobas?) |

I'd immideatly cure all diseases and make sure everybody would have food and a home. Shouldnt take more then a few seconds I guess. I would also stop wars I guess , how hard can it be?
But after that I'd leave the humans on their own. I'd go exploring the galaxy , check out the distant stars , see if there is any other life out there. I might also conjure up a beautifull female god while im at it. About every so many years I might check out earth again and fix all the shit they did and go away again. I mean , it would be nothing more then a fading thought and I'd make alot of people happy I guess. |
