"Remote sensing"
I was watching a program on DSC tonight on ESP. I'm beginning to wonder if that channel has lost it's integrity.
They were interviewing some nerdy guy (with the most annoying back and forth eye movement problem) who claims to have been in the CIA program to develop "remote sensing". I always wonder where they get these people who will come forward and talk about top secret programs without fear of being arrested. But then he claimed that he could predict the silver futures market 12/13 times correctly. When asked why he wasn't rich by now, he comes back with "When you learn how to do this, you achieve an inner peace which makes you realize this isn't the right way to use your power". Uh huh. Sounds a lot like "it's not God's will". |

In regards to the CIA thing, I heard once that the KGB was testing remote sensors to see if they could locate submarines, so the CIA decided they should have a similar program just in case the thing worked (I'm sure the KGB would say that the CIA came up with the idea first). Neither of their programs worked and it was all just a big waste of taxpayer dollars, if it happened at all.
I, on the other hand, can cook my meals by shooting purple fire out of my ass. I just don't want to do it because I've achieved a sense of inner peace that makes it unnecessary. I wonder if the Discovery channel will do an episode about me? Whatever happened to fact-checking before doing a story? The guy obviously doesn't have so much inner peace that he refused to come on TV to let everyone know how special he is. |

CIA Agent: <gasp> An inter-continental ballistic missile loaded with a 200 megaton thermonuclear warhead aimed directly at the pentagon? Remote Viewer: Yes! That's it! CIA Agent: Call the President! Quote:

Yes our CIA did spend millions of dollars on remote viewing and ESP during the infamous "Stargate Project"
from the skeptics Dictionary: scroll down to remote viewing/CIA etc <a href="http://skepdic.com/esp.html" target="_blank">http://skepdic.com/esp.html</a> |
