Race and Christianity
I,m new to this board so excuse me if this subject has been talked about before. What would happen to Christianity if some how it was proven that Jesus was in a fact a black man ?

MECCA777- Thank you for responding but i have to disagree with you. The white race would NEVER accept a black man as there savior. It would be the end of
Christianity as it is now known. |

Being a white African, I would say that it would indeed have an impact on conservative white Christians. But I guess to liberal minded ones it would make no difference if Jesus was black, brown or white. It would certainly not be the end of Christianity if Jesus was learnt to be non-white.
Another question one could ask is if the next Pope was a black man – what effect would this have on the Catholic Church? Welcome to these forums Ken-du. |
