The Bible took a great deal longer because it was written as History happened. God wanted humans to be involved with it. If God created the Bible on his own, and complete at once - it would really puzzle people to read their entire future before it happens, and then no human in the bible would have a purpose. No need for apostles or Moses because they would have nothing to contribute.

Or......

It could all be a fraud. You see your story would be the sort of thing I would expect a con man to say.

If the bible had indeed been written before history and it was an accurate record of that future history then that would be evidence that it wasn't written by man alone. Simply recording current events is not any more supernatural then a news broadcast. Besides aren't there parts of the bible that are claimed to be future history.

Magus55 the more I read your posts the more I think you are trying to sucker people into your religion.

Explain this one to me then, sonny boy:
if "history" (e.g. the bible) is being recorded as it happens, then it necessitates an observer to witness and record these events as they happen. So who was there to observe the events in genesis? Or are you one of those that believe that the first five books were the divinely inspired words of god put to parchment by Moses himself?

A secondary question:
Quote:
and then no human in the bible would have a purpose.
What, pray tell, is my purpose then?

Of course I'm one of those who believe the books of moses were divinly inspired. I believe the entire Bible is. If Moses' books are in fact legitimate, only God was there to witness Genesis, which means God had to tell Moses. Moses actually interacted with God directly.

Read "in the bible", you aren't in the Bible, I'm talking about Moses and the Apostles. If the Bible was already written, the apostles had no purpose since thats what they were for. To follow Jesus and record what they saw and heard from him.

What do you mean? The Bible is an accurate historical book. The prophetical events that have actually happened are in the Bible, and some events that have yet to take place. Then entire Bible isn't just current events. A large portion is prophecy, which predicts future events that had yet to happen. But other parts are current events - for example the Gospel is the record of Jesus' life as it took place.

Magus55, if you are going to spread your propaganda get it right. Recording the story of Jesus was not their only mission. It was also to spread "the good news". Having a prepublished script should not have effected that in any way. Funny thing about those apostles, none of the original apostles is responsible for what is known as Chrisitanity today. What we have today was the result of the work (fruad) of the lucky 13th apostle, the apostle who was never an apostle. Perhaps you know who I am referring to.

Magus55, you gotta be a con man but not a very good one. At least get your scam strait. Is the bible future history or not? If it were prophecy then there would be no problem with god giving Adam a bible.

Do you mean Paul? Because He did become an apostle.

Yah, a self-proclaimed apostle. Weeeee, I just talked to god and I’m an apostle too!

But Magus55, you are changing the subject. If the bible is future history then why not give it to Adam? What's the big deal? Your original explanation doesn't hold water. Were you lying back then or just confused? Or are you confused now, or is it that you have been caught in a lie and like any good con man you are backpedaling and trying to change the subject? Come clean and admit you have no idea of what you are talking about.

Parts were future history (prophecy), parts were current history ( books of Moses) - hence why God didn't give it to Adam, since God intented for Moses to write the first books as part of His plan. Moses was involved with most of the first 5 books , Adam was only in Genesis, and more specifically only in the first 5 chapters.
