I started this on a lark, but it's been very interesting:

I asked people if they'd be willing to do something they thought could send them to Hell, to save someone else. General consensus is "no".

I sometimes wonder if people ever really "get it".

Hehe, yes, this, :banghead: , is often what I feel like when I talk to Christians on Christian boards. They just keep hiding behind their bibles, clinging on for dear life.

Anyway, your thread seems to prove to me that they are Christians because of fear, not because they love God, though they would certainly claim differently, I imagine.
