Christians working with atheists??

Anyone ever listen to these AiG radio clips? This is a great one in which Ken Ham discusses how terrible it is that some Christians are working alongside [gasp] atheists to debunk his literal Creation sermons.

There are some additional pearls of wisdom on the page as well. Thankfully, they're each only about a minute long...any longer, and my head may explode from the sheer amount of bullshit he's pumping out.

It only show what kind of dogmatic and unflexiable person he is.

If one wants to effectively oppose something then one should be willing to team up with those who also oppose that thing even if one disagrees with them on some other matter. That many creationists consider that to be horrifying is one reason why they have not been as effective as they could. All the better for our side. No only do they have bad science, but they don't understand being pragmatic and not being petty,

If I was in charge of a group trying to win politically at some issue then if Ken Ham could be a supporter I would work with Ken Ham, if Richard Dawkins could be a supporter than I would work with Richard Dawkins, and if [fill in the blank] could be a supporter than I would work with [fill in the blank] assuming that [fill in the blank] was not a Nazi or something really terrible.

Remember that William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Darrow were political allies more often than not.

So just what did happen to the dinosaurs according to Ham? Fill it out and find out. (It can be said definatively that AiG does not sell peoples' addresses.)

I'm surprised he's being tolerant enough to call them Christians. I thought that if you weren't a biblical literalist who bought into the whole YEC scenario, you weren't a Christian anyway.

A quick google to search for Ken Ham and dinosaurs uncovers his thoughts...not even worth the time to fill out the form. Big surprise...

Every great once in a while you run across a YEC claim where you have to dig a bit deeper and maybe learn some science in the debunking. But not too often...creationism facts are so recycled they probably have their own recycling symbols.

And yet the depressing part is that the general religious public will take their word on the claim, and believe any "non-christian" site is the work of the devil. :banghead:

On the Shrinking Sun thread someone linked to this site , and the beauty of the article was not only to debunk the YEC viewpoint, but to compare the huge difference between good science that adapts and self-corrects itself, and creation science, which in a nutshell runs with what works for them and ies about the rest. Whether it be the flood, the sun, or dinosaurs, it's the same story...
