Post The curse already lifted?

In GENESIS, God curses the ground with thorns and stuff. When Noah is born, I think a reference is made to him freeing people from the cursed ground--and right after Noah and his family get off the ark, God explicately states:

"I will never again curse the ground for man's sake".

So doesn't this state that at least part of the curse which Jesus apparentally fixed up were fixed already? If so why do we still have thorns?

But it does not say that humans will not be cursed. Man and human are opposite here in that man is a heavenly creature if the suffix hu- (from -humi) indicates the earthliness of humans (if you allow me to posite heaven opposite to earth).
