If anybody does use Christianbbs I'm there incognito, when I bother to go...that is to say I'm there under the name "Lucilius Witz", attempting to be a raving mad fundy as a joke. Well, because I was bored when I joined, anyway. But I'm finding it hard to be that nasty... --Egoinos-- |

I have been a regular for over a year at a spirituality board on jamaicans.com spirituality forum
I like it because it has an interesting variety of beliefs, Rasta, Christian, Jewish, Muslim (although most of the Muslims were chased off by some over zealous US patriots after 911)and a few atheists, and me (a-whatcha-mi-call-it ). The debates aren't always of the highest intellectual caliber. In the sense not all of us know much about what we are talking about. But there's allot of passion and a surprising amount of tolerance on the part of a few very narrow minded Christians (now how's that for a contradictory statement) I ended up there because of my love for Jamaica, and ended up here, as a result of needing to find a place where I could take a break from arguing with Christians. Arguing with Atheists is much more intimidating though. I'm hopefully getting them to add a science and debate forum onto the religious forum, and I have been asked to moderate it if they open the forum. In which case you'll probably see allot more of me here as I try and learn stuff to back up my arguments. Mostly the same old science verses creationism arguments there, but I was new to allot of the ploys and arguments from Christians so the spiritually forum has suited me just right. I've started allot of topics based on topics I've read here. I also have borrowed so of the knowledge and arguments some of the brilliant people here have proposed . Sorry for plagiarizing. unfortunately they don't allow links to other BB there because there have been times when I really wanted to refer people to arguments that are going on here. I try to avoid day, and also Mel. In fact I tend to shy away from most of them. Plus Fiach doesn't like me anymore. We're definitely too small - but how do we go about getting new members? Quote:
Who were you on there then? You weren't Truthseeker, were you? Quote:

Fiach is alright, but we haven't really talked much. He tends to crosspost somewhat, and can be illogical occasionally. I haven't figured him out yet. I think we can get new members by shamelessly promoting the site. Maybe we can put "www.worldbeliefs.com" after our signature or something. People don't go to the site because there aren't enough people there, and there aren't enough people there because people don't go to the site. GRR... Quote:
I was on there from mid January to late April. I posted as Firehawk, but I do remember truthseeker. I left the board about the time the troll(s) came to the board. Quote:
